Last Year's Event Description:

Get ready to get down and dirty for the 2012 Fire Fete with Destra and her family hitting the Sound Academy at Polson Pier (formerly The Docks). The craziest parties of the Caribana weekend are usually saved for Sunday night. You're rested from the Parade the day before and the following day is a holiday, so you can let loose without worry.

More than three thousand people will celebrate the conclusion of Toronto's 2012 Caribana Festival as they fete to the Caribbean's best Soca artists. The cool thing about this event is if it gets too hot, you can step onto the massive patio where you can enjoy more live music right by the lake - Sweet!

More than 20 bands and performers are set to jump on the main stage all night and just to ensure there will never be a dull moment .

Last Year artists included Destra and Her Band, Fay Ann Lyons, Bunji Garlin, Iwer George, Skinny Fabolous, Shall Marshall, JW and Blaze and many more!! Numerous DJs such as UMBA, De Enforcas, Goldfinger and Fresh Cut will spin hell raising Soca & Reggae until 3am in the main space and on the patio.

Sound Academy, is Toronto's premier live entertainment and event destination. The newly-renovated space features some of the world's most technologically advanced sound and lighting systems, unobstructed sightlines and fresh finishes-all combined to create an unrivaled concert experience. With 7500 sq ft of space, the room easily accommodates up to 2600 people with a clear view to the stage.

Accessible by land or water, Cabana's unique setting is the perfect respite for boaters and city-dwellers alike. Dine in the restaurant or simply stop for a drink on the patio.
